The world forgets. Even believers—Whole Bible believers—we forget.

They live in our family patterns.
They sit in our bloodlines.
They wait for us to choose the easy path—again—handing them to the next generation.
I realized recently…
I was about to walk right into mine. Willingly.
Not because I didn’t know better.
But because it’s easier.
Because my flesh craves it.
Because the path I was considering is the one my family has always chosen.
Thinking it was the better way.
A different version of the fight.
A personal spin on the journey.
But the truth? The end result is the same.
These patterns don’t just live in family memories—
They live in the spiritual realm.
They show up in decisions, emotions, reactions, silence, justifications… and even the words of others.
And if I don’t go to war, they’ll live on in me—and in my children.
But this time, it’s different.
Because I’ve been in deep, agonizing prayer and study.
Because I don’t just want to resist—I want to overthrow.
Because my understanding has changed.
And because my prayers are no longer begging—they are declarations.
War is hard.
People won’t understand.
They won’t get the decisions I make because they don’t see the war I’m fighting.
They don’t hear the curses whispering:
“This is easier.”
“This is how you show love.”
“This is what’s best.”
“This will bring healing.”
“This is important.”
But I know better now.
And I am choosing war.
What curse are you about to walk into… willingly?
And are you ready to finally turn and face it?
